Kiosks (self-service terminals) are generally categorized based on the application as follows:

• Stand-up/Floor-standing Kiosks: Commonly found at store entrances, hospitals, or banks. Typically a stand-up cabinet design, integrating a touchscreen, card reader, and printing module for self-service ordering, registration, inquiry, or payment.
• Desktop/Wall-Mounted Kiosks: Compact in size, suitable for counters or walls with limited space, commonly used for hotel self-check-in, visitor check-in, or information retrieval at the service desk.
• Outdoor Kiosks: Featuring a high-brightness screen and waterproof/dustproof (e.g., IP55/IP65 rating) characteristics, it can withstand harsh weather conditions and is commonly used for smart parking payment, tourist maps, or gas station self-service.
• Customized/Special Applications: Designed for specific functions, such as quick-access lockers with only QR code scanning or self-service check-in machines.
